Name That Bead!

Every once in a while we play a fun game around here called "Name That Bead!".

I like to give my Murano glass beads original names, such as "Starry Night", "Saphira", and "Blue Lagoon". When I get a new bead in and have trouble coming up with a name, that's when YOU come in!

I post the picture of the new bead, and you all have 24 hours to enter your name suggestions as a comment in the post. You must enter your name suggestion here on the blog in the comments - no name suggestions on Facebook will be entered!

After all the suggestions come in, I will pick the TOP 5, and will post them as a poll on Facebook. Again, you MUST vote in the poll on Facebook - no votes in the comments of the blog will be entered.

Facebook fans have 24 hours to VOTE for their favorite name. The name with the most votes wins!

And what do you win?

1. A free bead - the one that YOU named!
2. Bragging rights! :)

Here are the nitty-gritty rules:

1. Giveaway is open to everyone, no country restrictions.
2. You can enter as many names as you want within the allotted time period. Name entries must be submitted as a comment to the blog post - no name entries on Facebook will be entered.
3. Name submission portion will be open for 24 hours only.
4. I have the final say on the top 5 names, but I will not have any say in the poll that chooses the winner.
5. Voting for the winning name will be open for 24 hours only. One vote per person. Votes will be counted in the Facebook poll only.
6. You must be a Facebook fan of Katie's Charms in order to vote for your favorite name. So if you entered a name and it is chosen as one of the top 5, be sure you're a Facebook fan so you can get your friends to vote for you!
7. If more than one person enters the same exact name, and that name is the winner, each person who suggested that name will get a free bead.
8. Winning name and winner will be announced here on the blog. In the event that the winner does not respond (I will give them 3 days), the name with the next highest votes will be chosen as the winner.
9. If I feel the winning name is inappropriate or just doesn't mesh with my brand, I have the right to refuse using the name. The winner(s) will still get the free bead, however.
